ADA Training & Guide Dog Etiquette
We need your help and support!
In line with our mission statement, educating the public is a huge factor in our efforts to improve the quality of life for the visually impaired. We would like to offer you the opportunity to have us come out and assist you in your ADA training by providing an educational presentation for your school, church or staff focused on interacting with the visually impaired and the do’s and don’ts of interacting with service animals in your establishment.
The Presentation Covers:
What is Visual Impairment and the different levels of blindness
Etiquette for interacting with the visually impaired
What is a service animal?
What tasks does a service animal perform?
Time for questions and answers
Everette is my guide dog and I am fully aware that people may not know the correct protocol for interacting with service animals. We need your help to educate the public, one training session at a time, and give them the opportunity to ask questions and get answers in order to help promote positive and productive interactions with the public and the visually impaired community.
Schedule your presentation today and help us move the needle forward on improving the quality of life for the visually impaired!
We appreciate any amount you can donate to help offset costs associated with running this program. We will still fulfill your request because our mission is to improve the quality of life for the visually impaired and educating the community is a crucial part to reaching that goal. Thank you in advanced for your support!
